Join Jamie back at Modo Yoga Brantford for an 18 hour deep dive into the practice of Ashtanga Yoga.

Yoga asana is the science and art of triggering the nervous system into a state of relaxation and wholeness. The Ashtanga Primary Series is called Yoga Chikitsa, meaning yoga therapy, because of the cleansing and toning effect it has on both body and mind.

This workshop will take a more extensive look at the traditional Hatha yoga asanas and how the Ashtanga yoga method creates a positive lasting effect the organs, glands and autonomic nervous system. We will explore surya namaskara, plus standing, seated and inversion asanas from the primary series of Ashtanga Yoga. Geared to support you, whether you're a beginner or season veteran, this workshop will explore how to advance your practice and move forward on your mat.

Friday June 30th from 6-9pm
Saturday July 1st from 8-12 & 1-5pm
Sunday July 2nd from 8-12 & 1-3pm
